Features

Simby Studio does one thing: it gets a short video you made onto your own TikTok or YouTube account, using the official APIs, with every publishing decision left to you.

Publishing to TikTok

Creator account card

Before anything else the screen shows which TikTok account will receive the post — nickname, username, and the maximum video duration that account allows. If you have more than one account connected, you can see at a glance which one is active.

Privacy level with no default

The privacy dropdown is filled from the options TikTok reports for your account, and nothing is preselected. The Post button stays disabled until you deliberately pick one.

Interaction toggles off by default

Comment, Duet, and Stitch all start unchecked. If your account has any of them disabled at the platform level, the matching toggle is greyed out and cannot be enabled here.

Commercial content disclosure

Disclosure starts off. Turning it on reveals the "Your Brand" and "Branded Content" choices, and the consent text updates to include the Branded Content Policy. Branded content cannot be posted with the "Only me" privacy level.

Preview and express consent

You see the actual clip, the editable title, and the settings that will be applied. A consent checkbox must be ticked before the Post button becomes active. Simby Studio never adds a watermark of its own.

Upload status tracking

After posting, the status of the upload is polled and reported in plain language until TikTok confirms the publish finished or reports an error.

Permissions we request

Simby Studio asks for the minimum scopes needed to do the job, and nothing beyond them.

ScopeWhy it is needed
user.info.basic To display which TikTok account is connected and will receive the post, and to read the account's posting limits such as maximum video duration.
video.upload To transfer the video file you selected to TikTok so it can be reviewed in the preview step before publishing.
video.publish To complete the publish after you have chosen your settings and given express consent.

Publishing to YouTube

The same workflow supports YouTube through the official YouTube Data API. You authorize your Google account, choose the title, description, and visibility, review the preview, and confirm before the upload starts.
